This is my review of the Playstation 2 videogame ''The Thing''

About "M" rating: E.S.R.B. sucks at rating video games, they don't rate the games themselves they just go by what the company tells them about the game so some games are rated unfairly.
The thing has blood and gore but it is not in great detale you don't just see the brain, eyes,heart,lungs and a pile of blood spill out all over the floor like when you die in Forsaken for P.S.one and p.c.. Well you do see some organs but the game centers more around adventure.

''THE THING'' video game for P.S.2 and P.C. windows and X-Box is accully the official sequel to the 1982 movie and takes place a short while after ''THE THING'' movie directed by John Carpenter...
In ''The Thing'' your biggest enemy isn't the ailens its the cold, sence its 40 below outside you will have a im freezing my @$$ off meter its a blue bar in the bottom lefe corner of the screen that tells you how long you can be outside before you freeze to death.
Inside you have to worry about switches,monsters,people,security cameras, remote sniper batterys and more.

HINTS/NOTES & COOL STUFF
TIP: A flare will only last for about 3 minites before it burns out, but when its about to run out go to the items menue and deselect the flare icon then you get to keep the flare and it will be restored to another 3 minites. NOTE: You can spray the fire extinguisher for as long as you want and it will never run out of flame retardents. TIP: The blood test is about as effective as throwing gasoline on a fire in determining if one of your teamates is infected. I once gave a guy the bloodtest, it proved negative and about 30 seconds later he erupted into the thing.
